Ryan's 67 Chevy Truck Ryan writes the following about his truck: Here's a picture of my 67 Short-Step for which I only paid $300 for the shell. It has a 396 (485hp) out of a 69 Chevelle, Powerglide tranny, 3.73 rearend from a 65 Chevy. I have upgraded the front brakes with power discs from a 75 Chevy P/U. It has a late model bench seat, and I layed a light grey carpet on the floor, door panels, and roof of the cab. I have also upgraded to power steering. I plan on swapping the old bed for a late model step-side if the price is right that is. Since this picture was taken, I have repainted the wheels a bright silver, and had the exhaust hung, so it's unseen and dumps just passed the cab. (Photo courtesy Ryan.)
