Bolting a 73-85 Front Crossmember To a 67-72 Chevy

This may be widely know but it was new to me. The front crossmember (saddle) from the 73-85 Chevy full size will bolt on to the 67-72 model's. If your truck was not so equiped buying a frame section ( from just behind the shock mount forward). In my case off a 78 for $ 175 from a junk yard will provide you with disc brakes, corect brake proportoning valve, sway bar, and power stearing gear box, And is a bolt on.
