Adding disc brakes to 67 - 72 Chevy Pickups
Do you want your 67-72 pickup to have disc brakes? It is fairly easy. Use the spindles and discs from a 73 and up pickup. There is one catch, you also need to use the outer tie rod ends. Of course you will need the calipers and the little pieces. You can probably get these parts for fairly cheap. If you have a six lug truck and can only find a five lug disc brake system, a local machine shop can convert a five lug to six lug. Or at least I have found in Columbia, Missouri for around 50 bucks a rotor.
