man, I wanta take my car out this summer, but its a primered nightmare right now.....
I have a bunch of things that need cleaning up before I have it sprayed.....
Is there a sealer that can be applied to primer so that it doesnt attact moisture??
thanks!

You can seal the primer but I still wouldn't recommend driving it in the rain or anything until it has paint on it.

i've heard that wax helps to seal out moisture

I would think if you ever got wax on or in the pores of the primmer you would never get it out and the paint would not stick...ever.

I wouldn't put wax on anything until it's painted. It's just going to bite your butt later. Guys epoxy primes is much less pourous than lacquer primer ever was. It's next a sealer by any means, but it's not going to rust instantly either.
Scuuf your hot rod down, blow on a good coat of epoxy primer, and go enjoy the summer.....

What would you think about a rattle can paint job until I can finish the whole job & get a real paint job? Pros/Cons?
