Howdy!

New to the board. I think this might be just the place I'm lookin' for!

Any recommendations on a paint/body shop in Phoenix?? I've got a 66 C-10 longbed fleetside that's a daily driver for me.

I've gotten all the mechanical and electrical done over the years - lots of upgrades to better technology and the like. I want to get a GOOD long-term paint job and get any/all body problems ironed out - a restoration, if you will. Also, am thinking about some subtle flames, maybe just using pearl, maybe with some irredescent outlining or something...

I don't need a true "show" quality paint job, but I *DO* want a good job that will LAST and look good up close for years to come.

I'm thinking in the range of $6,000-8,000, including all the restoration stuff, new rubber, some chrome work, maybe a custom item (like a long L.E.D. 3rd brake light, perhaps cut out of a late model car and welded into the sheetmetal at the top of the cab). I want everything taken off, blasted, painted, reassembled, except the cab (but I *DO* want new cab mounts!!!). Also, need the interior shot.

Thought?? Suggestions??? Recommendations????

I've not had any luck over the years in finding rodders to ask where they got their work done. Fat Alberts USED to be THEE place (expen$$$ive), but I understand they are under new mgmt and not the same. I called a few paint dealers, and got a couple of thoughts from them and also from So-Cal here in town. But I'm really struggling with finding out who the best 4-5-6 shops are... I'll go visit them and talk with them, and make a final decision based on how they treat me, etc. But I need some solid shops to choose from!!!

Help! :)

Howdy.

Looks like nobody knows of any good Phoenix shops??

What if we expand the question to the entire state of Arizona? Or, if we include southern Calif.???
