I've had a few people asking how to set up mIRC lately. There is a tutorial @ www.67-72chevytrucks.com/mirc.html
Im just gonna add some screen shots here for those who have asked.

First go to www.mirc.com and dl the chat program (mIRC)

Second install the program ( usually helps a lil ;) )

Let it launch when you are givin the option at end of install so you can set it up.

When it launches for the first time an "options" box will pop up

next add in your information I do NOT use any real info nor does most anyone else I know, there is just no need.

simply fill in the blanks. I have a screen shot of my setup as an example. Just make sure you use your own info :p

when you are done entering the info click OK

you will now connect to the server and a pop up like this will appear. In the top blank to the left of where it says "join" ( under enter a channel name and click join) you type in the room name #67-72chevy you must enter it just like that, insure the # is before the name and NO spaces , or you will not get in the correct room. Then click join

you are now in the chat room ( I hope ) :D if you didn't make it after all this dont sweat it , just pop in on via www.67-72chevytrucks.com/chat.html and ask or PM one of us for more help. YOU WILL NOT have to go through all this each time you use mIRC , this si just for setup.. after you have it set up it takes ALOT less time then the webclient and has alot of nifty options, such as file transfers, private messaging, actually being able to connect to the room etc etc ;)
