Big question, hopefully someone can help a guy out. 62 c-10 shortbox. Is the rearend 62 only, and are axles that hard to find? I'm stumped :banghead: .Someone please give me an answer.

60-62 rear axles should be all the same. 63-66 have different mounting points for the panhard bar. You could make them work but have to weld on a boxed part for the bar. :)

60-62 rear axles should all be the same. Mine had a 3.90 gear ratio. The frames changed in 63. If you want to know all the changes, you can check with LMC Truck. They have all the changes and all the information you need to know about your truck. Their free catalouge has on page 2 I think the breakdown of all of this.
