What do you have to do to a first gen blazer after you install a 9 or 10 inch suspension lift kit on it? Do the driveshafts have to be lengthened? The differentials cut and turned? Another board member has a 9 inch lift with 39 inch tires and I think that looks awesome! Any help would be appreciated.

Pinion angles are going to be a MO-FO with a Blazer at those lift heights... Drivelines will need lengthening for sure... For that kind of lift, you are going to have to cut and turn the diffs to get a decent pinion angle.
6" is borderline, 8" is pushing it, and 10" is definitely going to take some work...
Why not a 6" Suspension and 3" Body? That will get you 38's or 39's x 14-15" wide on a 12" rim...

You could also go with some High angle Drivelines (http://highangledriveline.com/).

I have 6 inch suspention and 3 inch body. 38's barely fit if you like to offroad. they do rub alot. that is on a 10 inch wide wheel so any wider would be a big problem. If you want tires that big I would get 8 inch suspention and 2-3 inches of body. I really need 11 I think. That is with a true 38 though. If you buy a Ground Hawg, they run closer to 36 inches.

Hey 2wdBlazer,
It was your truck that I saw. I love the look of it. That is how I would want mine to look. 6 inch suspension and 3 inch body is all you had to do? Thanks again for the help.

Bad_turbo: My front driveshaft is VERY extended and I would recommend to get it made longer.

it would seem BT thought you had a "9 or 10 inch suspension lift kit" cuz that's what he said he likes, then once ya posted he said its infact YOUR truck he saw that's sick! But yours is only a 6"(3body). - *ya fooled him* kinda
