If any-one can help it may be you people. I've looked high and low for a drivers side rear axle for my 62 c-10 pick-up. Many claim to have it but fail to come up with the correct dimensions I need. If anybody can help it would be appreciated. :D

The rear-end is the Dana with the drop out third member. Spline count is 17. Length from inside surface to end of the button is 29 5/8 , or 29 9/16. the length is real close due to the axle being in two pieces. Also the button on the end is the thick button. There were 2 styles. One was about an eighth inch thick and the other around 5/16. Six lugs for the lug nuts also.

I m comfused  Axle in 2 pieces? 60 - 62 should be the same (1/2 ton with removable gear carrier aka third member, pumkin) and my 61 axles are 1 piece. Never heard of a 2 piece axle. Also, are you referring to the button end as the end that accepts the c clips? Just curious...

To clear things up the axle broke into two pieces. And the button is the end that accepts the c-clips. And also I found a NOS axle at Tom Meyers. The truck is on the road and I drove it to my wedding last weekend. Of coarse I had to lay some rubber out of chuch. What other choice did I have, With everybody watching and all. Thanks 64 Fleetside for the advice.
