I have a 1970 GMC 3/4 ton truck with a 400cid engine and th400 tranny(it's my first truck). I'm getting it restored, and I don't know what the original colors for these trucks were. If anyone has a catalog or anytype of brochure with the original colors on it so I can see what I should choose, please respond. thanks.

you can go to your local automotive paint supplier and the will have the color books for that year for you to look through. hope this helps

If you can get the numbers off the cowl tag, post them and I'll try to remember to look them up Monday at work. I have the codes and formula numbers in the PPG book back to about 1963 or so. These usually can be crossed over to another Mfg. if you want.
