View Full Version : What would a 4X4 blazer with 20s look like? Smokin72on20s 07-25-2004, 04:25 AM i was thinking about what a 4x4 blazer with stock suspension and 20 inch wheels would look like. think it would look as slick as a 2wd with 20's? does anyone have any pics of a 4x4 with big rims? BIG_BLAZER86 07-25-2004, 06:44 AM In my opion I think it would look dumb, because you would still be able to see the front axle. If you ran a 20" rim with some 49" Irok's or some other big mud tire it would look bad ass. That's just my opion. Smokin72on20s 07-25-2004, 06:57 PM wouldnt it look like any newer 4x4 tahoe with 20's? i was thinking some 20inch wheels with some meaty tires, not the thin low profile ones. N2TRUX 08-01-2004, 11:09 PM It would look like this.... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/attachment.php3?attachmentid=90910&stc=1 blazinwest 08-02-2004, 12:14 AM it looks like your all set to go to the projects and sell some drugs good luck with that Jonboy 08-02-2004, 08:47 AM Can't say I care for that much myself. Just looks wrong to me. Grim Reaper 08-02-2004, 09:32 AM If the pictures ever got out everybody on ck5 and Pirate 4x4 would make posts laughing at it. Sorry but unless you were running a huge tire I think it would look dorky on a 4x4 with big open fenders. Fact of the matter is I think they look dorky in most cases. Way out of proportion. Looks like a Hotwheels knock off where one size wheel for 12 different scales. I like low profile tires but rim wrapped in a rubber band is too much. Farmer Mike 08-02-2004, 02:07 PM Actually, you couldn't fit 20s on a blazer (91 or older). The center hub diameters are too small on the majority of aftermarket rims. As far as the newer blazer/tahoes/suburbans/avalanches - it's already out there (DOH!) Mike (not rapstar material) useRc10 08-02-2004, 07:04 PM There's a pickup (73-87 not sure what year) that has 18s or 20s and something like 39" tires...i think it looks pretty cool...it belongs to a high school student so once school starts back, i may be able to catch a pic of it... super-k 08-29-2004, 10:12 AM VERY GHETTO,yo SledBurban 08-30-2004, 07:04 PM reminds me of the wells fargo wagon..... Gregsmx 09-06-2004, 09:10 PM I'll be mounting 20" Weld EVO Velocities with Michelin LTX M/S 275/60 R20's on my 4X4 Blazer. Wheels and Tires have come along way in recent years, and with the advent of 22" 24" even 26" wheels, 20's anymore are pretty commonplace. The Michelin tire is pretty tall at 34" overall, compared to the Goodyear GTII that you see on alot of 20" rims. Also, BFG All Terrain TA is being made in the same size as the LTX if you'd want to get a more aggressive tread pattern. The BFG ATA is just a very poorly constructed tire however, that's why I chose the Michelin's. Page 4 of my webpage has a picture of them, and when the truck gets back from the paint shop, I'll update the page with some pictures mounted. Isn't that the great thing about this hobby, you can do what ever you want because it's your truck! 8t5Silverado 09-10-2004, 01:54 PM Looks good Gregsmx, can't wait to see it finished. cochino12 09-10-2004, 03:13 PM wow, Gregsmx I cant wait to see it finished. What are you going to do for centercaps in front? I didnt think anyone made a wheel for the hub to fit through? Looks good useRc10 09-10-2004, 11:48 PM greg, i like that color but i really like the original green...can't wait to see the wheels/tires mounted -Nick cochino12 09-12-2004, 12:04 PM Here is a blazer on 20's from the good guys show this weekend |
