Has anyone repainted the silver on a 67-72 gauge cluster (the plastic piece).

I would like to freshen mine up, but I'm not sure about the prep for it.

I'm sure someone here has done it before.

I sanded mine with 600 grit and some soapy water, wiped it down with paint thinner and shot it with Krylon. Worked out very nicely.
