How do you set Adobe Photoshop so the program doesnt look for watermarks when importing scanned images or digital pictures?

When ever I need import a bunch or pictures to the computer I like to use Photoshop to resize and change quality. Well it always does the watermark thing and slows down the whole process. Plus sometimes it locks up on that part and I have to start over.

Is there a setting or preference I can change or something to stop it from checking for watermarks.

Watermarks are there for copyright protection...........I doubt that you can get around them.
