I've done drops on both my '79 resto and the blazer and have used Western Chassis both times. It's fairly economical depending on amount of drop. You can do a simple 3/4 drop for around $250 with dropped coils in front and shackels and hangers in the rear (won't need a notch with that).
go to www.sporttruckdirect.com and you can get a good idea of options.

Mine is 5 1/2 inch drop in front, and 5 inch in the back.
Spindles and springs in the front cost about 300
Rear leaf spring dearch cost 90 dollars at Ft Worth Champion Spring shop on Henderson street in downtown Ft Worth.

Tx Firefighter did you take the springs off and take them to the shop or did you take the blazer to them?
By the way your wifes blazer is sharp and well worth the $10k

I measured how much I wanted to lower it then removed the springs and took them over to Champion.
My springs had sagged differently over the years and one actually set almost an inch lower than the other. When I took them to be de-arched, I just marked one with the 5 inches and the other one with the 4 1/16 inch or whatever. They de-arched them down to what I wanted and compensated between the two so that the truck sits properly side-to-side now.
The price also included all new bushings installed too.
