Well I just read another thread that shows someone else from Manitoba
And last year we all had trouble starting a Manitoba club. It seems to me that more and more people are popping up. So this tread is to do a head count and maybe some input on doing our own club.

I second the meeting up idea.

I dont know about you guys but meeting up with all of you would be real good for me.
The fact that my truck is still only about 1/3 done I think talking to all of you who have or are at the same point in building there trucks would be great to share secrets and ideas. Does and donts about the build . Basiclly just to shoot the s*#t.
So any ideas bout a meeting or maybe even a club. I know it was tried before but lets give it one more try.

I'm down with hookin up. Mabe shootin the poop & a b**r? One on my 67's is insured so I can arrive in style. Is the show at the Pony still running? We could mabe hook up therein the parkin lot... Or mabe again at the Assinaboine duck pond.. Or where? As for a Klub, I'm cool with something like that. Like say we meet every last sunday of the month for a b**r at like applebees or something. I dunno. IF we get nothing else going, at least we can see each others faces, say hi & get to know each other well enough to be able to phone each other for parts or help or something like that. It may be tough for the northern cats to make it though...

OK guys - we are running out of time to decide this thing.

Is it going to be Pony Corral on Sunday night? That works for me as I usually go over to have a look anyway.

It is also their windup so they will have a live band etc.

I suggest we park at the back lot behind the CIBC rather than try to take over the usual spots in front. My truck is not exactly pretty at this stage in its life.

How about shooting for about 7:00 PM?

I ended up getting pulled home half of the way with a tow rope, something ignition wise crapped out, it has been acting up all year and finally went.


I wished I brought a camera, could of taken some pics of 72shortbox's truck, kinda looks like the hotwheels truck, nice!

Thread was moved and never noticed..anyway the Manitoba Street Rod Association had a parking lot full of cards and trucks at the income tax building parking lot near Kildonan Place shopping Mall yesterday. There was a decent 72 Cheyenne there, BB AC, tach, Tilt, aux battery.... didnt see any owner around though so never met owner.
Was a nice show as far as I'm concerened and free admission with a change donation welcome... I donated, went towards Childerens Hospital Fund.

I didn't get there until close to 9:00 PM. Lots of cars out for the windup but I didn't see any 67-72 trucks gathered. Too late I guess. Sorry I missed you all.
