hi,i have a 70 chev c10 that was repainted about 5 years ago. well the guy just painted the truck and just let it set under a tree in the sun. well the paint looks good still but is oxidized and has tree sap all over the cab. what do you recommend that i do to bring back the shine on it. i dont have a buffer or access to one so i will have to do this by hand. any suggestions?

You should get a bottle of bug and tar remover, that should remove the sap. Next get some 1000 grit wet sand paper use a rubber block and a squirt bottle with 2 drops of Dawn dashwashing soap in the water go over the paint. Wash the truck and then go with 1500,wash the truck, and then 2000 and then 2500 grit and then hand buff with a very fine polish. All should be available at any automotive paint store.
