Anyone pull a windshield before without the tools?Can it be done? The one in the 70 is cracked and I have a mint one in a 72K5. Guys in the little red trucks want 125 bucks and no guarantee they wont crack.

The only way I know how is to cut the rubber from in front of the windshield with a box cutter, and it will pop right out. But it will require a new seal afterwards. I'm going to have a professional put mine back in when I'm ready.

cut the rubber on the outside get new rubber and soak down with soap or tire shine then take a thin rope and put in the groove that would seal to the truk then get buddy to help you pull in glass
