Has anyone filled in the seam on the top of the cab near the back? Would this cause problems with weather changes and metal flexing?

Would this cause problems with weather changes and metal flexing? Blue_71 10-20-2001, 09:00 PM my freind did it and it looks good..dont knwo about weather or anythign though Randy70C-10 10-21-2001, 08:52 AM I've seen it done a few times. I don't think it hurts anything. NSANE68!!! 10-22-2001, 01:47 PM I've seen it done and I've seen it crack after a couple of years. I'm filling mine, but gonna fill it with weld, that way don't have to worry about it cracking later. Good luck ------------------ 68 Chevy, with 93stepside,euro tail lights, fast bags, shaved everything, Eagle alloy 17's tuckin rim, 350 with under hood blower TH350 w/ shift kit,12 bolt Auburn posi with 4:11's. 95 chevy Tahoe A.K.A. You have to weld it or it will eventually crack. Nothing worse than cracked body work to ruin a nice paint job! Smooth68 10-23-2001, 12:45 PM Filled mine, only used lead. Held up so far. Same with the hood. ------------------ **'68 Chevy** *** BB 402 ** Will this thing ever get finished??? West Fork, AR 72chevyLWB 10-23-2001, 09:33 PM I had mine filled and it cracked.
