Was clearing a bunch of small stuff to get the hang of how to setup my gun for the clear......and like a rookie dope left the totally prepped truck interior
all shot in basecoat uncovered.........so now the horisontal surfaces all have a nice fine mist of clear overspray....duh!
so what is the easiest way of fixing things?.......can I just use a green 3m scuff pad?
BTW, thanks to everyone's hepl on the board, this paint job is comming out awsome!
I'm using the Dupont Croma Premeir line........picked Dupont based on the fact that PPG retailers are far and few around here......all the shops use PPG beacuse they all seem to mix on site.
But I couldn't be happier........all this stuff costs huge dough, but even if it costs 3X what Nason or Omni or Sherwin costs, considering my time involved that differential seems less significant, let alone the fact that these top-of-the-line paints just seem to melt on........
Also used sealer, which really creates a smooth, smooth finish for the basecoat............i'll bet that sealer would cover 220 sanding totally!
