Just thought id post some progress pics of the panel. So far, the chop is done, its just primed over stock crappy paint. Shaved driver door handle and skim coat of filler on it, just tacked up passenger side handle. also have the bottom of the driver door cut off, makin all new pieces to rid the rust from the bottom, then i get to do the other side. My power window kit, bear claw latches got here yesterday, so now i can put my autoloc shaved handle kit in. Enjoy the pics.

That looks SICK man!!!! god damn I've never seen such a bad ass panel before!!!! You're baggin it now aren't you?? Do you have any pics of when you chopped the top? I am very interested on how you did that.
Awesome lookin ride!! What's the final color gonna be? Ol Skool matte purple with some ivory highlighting would look killer on that panel!!

Here are some new pics. I started puttin a skim coat of filler over the passenger side, driverside is done. Waiting on a place to find some 18 G metal so i can make the bottoms of my doors. Pulled off my fenders, found foam and rust(which i new was there). Started putting filler over the sides where i welded the top back on, then there are 2 pics where i just think it looks mean(even with no door and fenders)... oh yeah, (Dubie) - no clue on the color, and (RaggedJim) nah, i think ill keep it, I will chop your blazer for you though.

(Dubie) - email me at fathead_03@hotmail.com and ill go ahead and send you my page with all of my progress pics of the chop. There are alot so youll have to ask me on certain pics. >X< - yeah, i did go to wyotech. Thats where i got all the skills to perform this feat. As of 4 months ago, i had never touched a piece of sheet metal to form, and never touched a welder. Then, after 6 weeks of practice and teaching, away i went, and out came a 6" chopped panel. Let me know your friends name, i probably know him. Yeah, should be about 40" tall, itll only be getting about 1.5" BD, as the frame is almost even with the rockers right now. (Ogier) - Nah, i dont wanna section it 4 and channel 4. Why channel it, it already covers up the frame, all it would do would be take out very sought upon interior room, and about the section... no way. The major body mods are all done, as in the chop. Now just shaving, hinges, stuff like that are in order. Oh yeah to all, got my first box of bag parts, compressors, fittings, lines, guages, and switchbox.
