Yes; My son took me combat fishing yesterday on the Russian River for Red's we got 2 and I lost 4 with some weak line ,I never worked so hard fishing B4 to me fishing is relaxing and not as much work as it is up here.
We went into Anchorage today and on the way home watched the combat fishing for Kings :cool: ..

lol well the russian and combat fishing is quite a bit extreme, but fishing up here is very extreme. Fishing is life up here in summer, just about everything revolves around it. My step-dad is a hunting/fishing guide so I'm constantly bombarded with it. King fishing is ok... my record is 63 lbs, but red fishing is the funnest, especially kenai river reds, bigger than russian river reds but with the same amount of fight turns out to be a good time. Anyways having a good time on the trip otherwise? other plans? Homer is worth the trip to see if your on the peninsula... so is Seward. Just shoot back if you have any questions about anything, I've been up here 8 yrs so know a thing or two about the lower peninsula, be glad to help.

Thanks ; We are heading to Denali on Monday and next week going to Seward and Homer , at Seward we are going on one of the glacier cruises .Then heading back home .
If I have any ? I'll give you note.
I'm suprised at how many of our trucks are still hear in Anchorage and Eagle River ,I even seen a add for parts in the Anchorage Daily News .

The seward glacier trips can be a blast. Done it 3 times never gets old. Never actually been into Denail myself, been by it twice. There are quite a few of our trucks up here, considering the amount of people. Personally, I have mine, my buds 69, my other buds 71 thats tore almost to the frame, my other friend has 2 parts 69-72's. Theres 3 in a junk yard about 5 miles from me, another 71 4x4, thats close to that junkyard... thats actually the truck the got me interested in this body style...always have wanted to stop in and talk to him about it. Theres a 72 4X4 a mile from me along with two GMC burb's, across the street is a 67-68 green C20 but its back in so you can't see it from the highway. lol my step-dad friend has a 72 Blazer thats 2 miles from me, there is two 71 C10's down cohoe loop rd that belong to an old friend... another 72 burb down cohoe.....so yeah thats just in a span of about 10 miles that I know about. If you go to Homer theres a few along the road, white 69 or 70 left side headed south...not great shape big steel bumper, green 67 or 68 ok shape right hand side of the road headed south, and homer has a few old ones too. lol If you couldn't tell... I know where all the good vehicles are.... or I can find out, Muscle car or trucks like ours...if I don't know who owns it, I know somebody that does. lol I'll probably be working.. but on your way down the peninsula if you pass a metallic brown, black rims, dirty, fairly rusty, side piped flowmastered exhaust 1971 C20, thats me.

71Chevy4-speed ;

Made it back home last night . You live in a beautiful state , The whole state reminds me of Yellowstone . We had great weather everywhere we went only had some rain at the Saturday market in Anchorage , and on the way home from Fairbanks and the Hot Springs.
Got to do the Glacier tour and Dinner and was a blast except for all the other Tourist :lol: . Did Homer and seward also , so we managed to do everything we had planned on ,so now we have to come back because we have a new list of places to go . :crazy:
When we were in you area last week I seen a metalic rusty brown colored truck but it was lowered so I figured it wasn't you ,it was heading in the opposite direction .

lol well since the first of june I've had 2 days off, so unless u saw me after 5, it probably wasn't me, interesting though, never seen another metallic brown one around here. Well glad you had a good time while you where up here, hope the second trip is just as much fun. lol people do tend to have to take a second trip, state is two big to cover it all in one, I've been here 8 yrs and haven't seen it all.
