toddtheodd 12-18-2004, 06:49 PM Thank you.
rmrtndl 01-26-2005, 09:50 PM What is a Clip? I am assuming this is the front fenders, inner and outer, along with the grill and rad. support. Is this correct?
Hook'em 01-31-2005, 05:07 PM I am a relative FNG. This question will show my ignorance as it relates to this stuff. I see this all of the time when dealing with old, but seemingly great conditioned, original items - NOS.
I pretty much know what it means by the context, but for the life of me, I can't determine what the initals stand for. The only NOS I know of is Nitrous Oxycide System, and that clearly ain't it.
BTW, I couldn't bring myself to post this on the regular message board for fear of looking completely like a ftard.
GenIIIShorty 02-04-2005, 08:55 AM nos = new old stock. nos is an extra part gm made when making the vehicles. they made extra fenders, hoods, etc. for replacement with official gm parts, in case a vehicle got wrecked or smashed up beyond sheet metal repairs. made with the original dies when the original parts were made, so pretty much gauranteed to be a perfect fit.
driver64 02-14-2005, 09:54 PM what is bbc and sbc i figure big block and small block but what is the c for?
what is bbc and sbc i figure big block and small block but what is the c for?
The C is for Chevy, as in Big Block Chevy, and Small Block Chevy.
driver64 02-14-2005, 11:08 PM oh stupid me! thank you
hobby67stepside 02-17-2005, 09:58 PM That's not stupid to ask what the "c" is for. It is, however, redundant to use it since this is mainly a Chevy board.
OEM? original equipment right?
RRS Rice Rockets Suck???? j/k
