What is a Clip? I am assuming this is the front fenders, inner and outer, along with the grill and rad. support. Is this correct?

I am a relative FNG. This question will show my ignorance as it relates to this stuff. I see this all of the time when dealing with old, but seemingly great conditioned, original items - NOS.

I pretty much know what it means by the context, but for the life of me, I can't determine what the initals stand for. The only NOS I know of is Nitrous Oxycide System, and that clearly ain't it.

BTW, I couldn't bring myself to post this on the regular message board for fear of looking completely like a ftard.

nos = new old stock. nos is an extra part gm made when making the vehicles. they made extra fenders, hoods, etc. for replacement with official gm parts, in case a vehicle got wrecked or smashed up beyond sheet metal repairs. made with the original dies when the original parts were made, so pretty much gauranteed to be a perfect fit.

The C is for Chevy, as in Big Block Chevy, and Small Block Chevy.

That's not stupid to ask what the "c" is for. It is, however, redundant to use it since this is mainly a Chevy board.

OK, here's a few more....
I got this email the other day and I thought it would help us all express our true feelings a little better.

We all know those cute little computer symbols

called "emoticons," where: :)

means a smile and :(

is a frown.

Well, how about some "assicons"? Here goes:
(_!_) a regular ass

(__!__) a fat ass

(!) a tight ass

(_*_) a sore ass

{_!_} a swishy ass

(_o_) an ass hole

(_zzz_) a tired ass

(_E=mc2_) a smart ass

(_$_) Money coming out of his ass

(_?_) Dumb Ass
