My friend bought a gate from lmc about a year ago and just put it on his 68 last month. The first time he stood on it it bowed then last weekend he was standing on it loading his truck when the gate buckled and fell off leaving him on the ground with a sore @ss. I don't know if they still sell the same ones but the one he got was a genuine piece of crap.

yea the reproduction tailgates are pretty crappy if you still plan on using the bed of the truck... rahter have a dented up orignal than a new one myself
