If you're looking for information for about ShowFest 2005 then you've come to the right place. The ShowFest truck show put on by Assorted has become the show to attend. The show has been picked as Minitruckins show of the year for the past 2 years. This years showdates are May the 14th and 15th. The show is held at the Washington County Convention Center in Greenville MS. This will be the shows 10th year, and I hear that there could be some suprises in the works. I know lots of people are here looking for information on pre-registration dates, entrance fees, etc... This will be available soon. As always dragging, cruisin, neons, and loud music will be ok. Once again though this year its asked that their be absolutely NO burnouts or drag racing. While you're here please check out the Forum and the Gallery. Please click the read more link to find out more about the history of the show and Assorted. As I said before, this will be the 10th year for the show. Something many people probably don't know about is the club that organizes the show every year. That club is Assorted formerly known as Assorted Miniatures. Assorted members have been cruisin the central MS area for around 13 years. The show is planned by a group of less than 15 people and couldn't be done without the help of many sponsors and supporters who volunteer time to help out every year. I have been going to the show for the past 7 years. The first year I went the show fit entirely inside the convention center with room to spare. With news of the Show, and especially the nights spent on the strip afterwards spreading from person to person through the years there has been tremendous growth. The show now attracts over 1,000 participants a year and keeps getting larger. It has the biggest economic impact of any event in Greenville all year long, selling out hotels up to 40 miles away. Even the residents of Greenville now come out after the show lining both sides of the rode for over a mile to see endless parade of rides showing off all night.
