Wow keanu, we are glad to see you found our site. This is too cool having a member from as far away as the Netherlands with a passion for American trucks. If you have any questions please ask us....

I normally dont welcome alot, but that is awesome that you are interested in american cars. I will be going to the netherlands later this year i hope. Hopefully you find what you want. When I was over in europe last year, I only saw one older car and it was about a 1970 camaro. JT

Welcome to the site. Is it expensive to get parts for older trucks there or are there vendors who specialize in them? I always wonder how people overseas keep their vehicles maintained...

Hi roger,

It is not so hard to get parts for older trucks here there are vendors who sell them out of stock or if they don't have a part they order it in the states.
And a lot of people buy the parts from Ebay.com or directly from vendors in the states, cause that is a lot cheaper.
For example clear taillights costs in the netherlands 160 USD en the same lights on Ebay costs 25 USD en 25 shipping and no tax so that is a lot cheaper.

Ebay is a great thing, I sold a guitar to a guy in Germany once.

Good to hear that it's working for you.
