Do you guys thing it would be a good idea to have reagional classifieds? To help minimize searching for local sellers? I would still look in other regions for for sale items. I dunno, it could be to scattered. Probably best to keep it in one place. But still I would beable to tell if something was close to me for sale. :confused:

I'm for keeping it in a broader forum. It cuts down on searching in various areas of the board. If I want something bad enough, I'll pay for shipping or go get it if it's outside of my general area.
Not a bad idea, though. Just don't always have the time to look everywhere for something I need.

I didn't think it was either or. I thought it was both.

i posted some general area classifieds at the top of each regional forum , figured that would be better than doin it state by state

Excuse me? what is the problem? If I post regionally, I can't post Worldwide? The point? Not trying to pick a fight.........I just don't get it. If this is in answer to my prior post, I guess if I state I won't ship (in this case, it would be stupid) regionally would make sense, but what if someone in the Northeast read a post on the Southwest, is that a violation? Help me understand the problem here, Josh

cross posting creates a problem from people posting their ad in EVERY classifid section on the board, becuase a few people do this sort of thing it makes it so we have to be more strict on the rules,
i see no problem with someone checking out the diffrent regional classifids, maybe the buyer is willing to drive to pick up an item? Or really needs it and dosnt care about shipping costs, it would be up to the seller to determine if he/she wanted to deal with shipping.
