I work by Northtown, north of Springbrook Park. I'm about as far south and east as you can be and still say you are in Coon Rapids.

Im back in WV now, but spent last summer with my gf(now ex) in Ramsey, very near Coon Rapids where '73 is, and i have been to Northtown! You guys have a great state up there, i enjoyed my stay and will be back sometime.

Chaska, there are a few trucks around here; I have not been able to track them down but have seen at least three 67-72 GMC. I also belong to the “The Classic Chey/GMC Truck Club”. They are always well represented at the all GM Show at the MN fair grounds which is June 5th this year. How about we try to get as many of the area board members out there at the same time, maybe we do a cruise. I Hope to have my truck ready to roll by then.

I'm from Grand Marais, MN. North of duluth 2 hours on Lake superior. Got about 10 chevy trucks from '73-'86. Right now my main concentration is to get rid of 4 of them, probably going to the crusher, going to take all the big item things off like motor/tranny/rear end. If anyone needs any small parts I can see if I have them, they'll probably be cheap.

The trucks are:

'78 3/4 ton 2wd Scottsdale
'80 1/2 ton 2wd high model Scottsdale has the square headlights
'80 Blazer 4x4 square headlights
'76 GMC 1/2 ton 2wd has original 454. Also fake wood grain door panels and gauge bezel.

I am up in Moorhead, MN. Trying to stay warm.

Heh, up until December last year I was working over at the New Flyer bus plant. I'm now working at Woodmaster in Red Lake Falls, living in St. Hilaire just south of Thief River Falls.

I know what you mean about the rust belt!! My poor old '81 is about 600 pounds lighter than when it rolled off the assembly line......
