chevyredneck, I used to come to mason once in a while, I know of a guy out east of NIACC a few miles and north a couple that has 4 or 5 trucks and told him bout the board, never got him to sign up though

Did the Building Maintenance course there for the year, and now I see it's not even a course anymore :lol: That was 20some years ago I was there and I'm still in the same field just a bit more complex. But hey we had some Great parties up there :metal:

Maybe we did, I did ALOT of cruising back then. Had a 76 Blue MG Midget that got right at 50 miles a gallon and only held 7 gallons of gas :lol:

I just picked up a red 69 Long bed and will be out to cedar falls raceway this weekend to get a "before" time slip. Should be fun to see how it compares to the "after" time slip next summer.

do you know if i have to have plates on the truck in order run it? I'll probably bring the title just in case. what about seat belts? It only has the factory lap belt (for now). Oh, and the gas tank in the cab. suppose they'll let me run with all of these issues? :lol:

You will have no problems at all. This summer there was a guy who made a mid 9 sec pass with no safety equipment at all, I heard he didnt even have a helmet. Cedar falls is the most laid back track I have been to. Also a buddy of mine raced his 67 f100 there last year with stock belt's and tank in cab and he didnt have to have a helmet because he was running hi 14's low 15's. so if anything I would bring a helmet but thats it.

They had the Carpentry after that... then that shut down for a couple years... now it's back again... I don't know exactly what It's called though..


I'm also a NCC grad... Manfuacturing Engineering Tech to be exact... another program that's discontinued.
