Not off the top of my head. I only know two places on the coast that deals with something other than colision work. Both of them tend to take the arm leg and a few private parts, even though they are really good.

Well, yes I've been a member for almost 5 years. The first 3 years, my truck was at mom's house 430 miles away. The truck is now with me at my house, and I work on it every weekend(check the 73-87 message board for progress pics). I usually just read and learn from everyone else's postings. Most of these posts are from the last 2 years. I'll do better, I'll do better...... :( David

I'm in the process of droppin a 88 c1500 350 5spd manual shortbed stepside.

Since i finally got to where i can post on here I can finally ask my main question. Does anyone know if an newer model dash will fit the 88'??

I'm workin on this truck with my fiance's dad and both of us absolutely hate the non-needle style dashes.

**EDIT** Oh yeah, and when we finish with this truck and i graduate we're going to start work on a 1947 Studebaker M5. The original owner was my great grandfather. It was parked in a barn on our property in the 70's and has never seen the light of day since. This will be a complete resto. except for maybe goin to 12v. Everything else will be totally stock.

re: board member meet, Donna and I are still waiting to hear about a date for her surgery. Dr. said "first two weeks in November" but we still don't know the exact day. BUT, if at all possible, we'll attend a board meet.
There's a state park here in Jackson- Lefleur's Bluff- that's easy to find and large enough for all of us. Large playground for the kids as well. Just a thought.

I know the place nice park. I just thought about sompin. The 55 is not road ready yet if I show it will be in a Ford. Dang I would hate to show up at a chevy meet in a ford.:o

maybe some of the jackson area guys could organize this, i am 2 hours north of jackson. i cannot come in my 70, but the vette or camaro is a definite.

the state park mentioned above is a great place for a meet,

I'd like to see this happen. Hey there ya'll. My name is Mike Palmiter from Meridian. I've been a board member for quit a long time now. I have kept a very low profile though. Now that racing season is over I have picked up interest in my truck again. I'd like to meet some of you and look at your trucks and maybe get some ideas for my own. I would not be able to bring my truck as it is far from being driveable, but I do have a few pics of what I've done so far.
