I think it's a good thing that the chevy owners in Arizona keep in touch with each other. The reason ( Parts ) I have parts that I get in traid and only use some of them. You guys have parts. The one thing we are all short of is cash. Barter is a good thing. One mans junk could be another mans junk. Traiding you get rid of stuff you dont need, and get stuff you do need. Good idea?. Im a body man and work in gilbert Im always working with parts. I know where to get them and most likely cheeper. Im not in this for the money, It' a chevy thing and I know sometimes it's hard to find what you need. Hey thanks ureckme. We seem to have quite a few people in the same area. I am in the process of rebuilding my 67 lwb. I will have some panels and extra parts that I can unload to people in the area. Swaps and trades sound like a great idea. I haven't been to 83rd and Beardsley on Sat. nite. I'll have to check it out.

I am going to try to go this weekend. But the truck isn't ready yet. So I may be in a white 88 2 door s-10 blazer. Most likely in a black AMP Performance hat cause thats the one I wear all the time.

EDIT: I will be in flagstaff at my neighbors graduation tomorrow night. But next weekend I want to go and hope to be driving my truck.

Well me and shortbed72 will be up there this firday as long as nothing else comes up. We will be in my green 70 long bed with a flat black tailgate. Lol you can't miss it.

For those of you who haven't been to the weekly Saturday show in Safeway at 83rd Ave & Beardsley, it has been growning. It's almost encompassing the entire lot. I swear it gets bigger every week. Plus, the dj who spins 50's and 60's rock makes it more enjoyable. :metal: I think it's actually better than the pavillions in Scottsdale.

It's well worth the drive for the ones who live further away.

I've met alot of people with our year trucks, but only one board member.

Yea, that one is on Saturday night. On Friday, there is one at 35Ave & Northern. It's kinda small though. And I think one down in chandler at the Albertsons.

hi again guys,
i am looking for some really good inner fenders for my '72 swb 2wd p/u. i have some good stock parts to trade, but will pay as well. i was thinking of driving out to hidden valley auto yard to see what they might have & to just look around. has anybody from the arizona area ever been out there??? please let me know what you think of the parts out there. i am also selling my engine from my truck if entersted in more details please pm me. it is a stock 350 4-bolt main with an edelbrock performer intake on it. it has some miles , but ran very good (daily driver) before i pulled it. reason for selling is just wanted a new motor.

Everytime I go to these shows, I seem to never be by the truck for too long. I'm always hanging out next to someone else's car or truck talking.

I'm kinda new just reading the boards. I'm out in East Mesa by Falcon field I'm working on a 1980 1 ton camper special with the 454. a resto project for sure. Its taken me well over a year to get it down to cab and frame. some rusty panel to replace but a 90 percent complete truck.

Well im relocating once to arizona-vegas just isnt working out.ill be in flagstaff temporarily at first to work again and save up some money then im going to school for truck driving them im not sure where ill be based out of.i prefer to be local but in the beginning i dont think that willl happen.

Anyone know of a salvage yard that has any 88 - 98 stepsides? Called afew in QC, AJ, Mesa but no luck.
