Don't you like how they stress 1972 or earlier on domestic trucks!

If you come out, look for the guy pushing a blue double jogger stroller. The family and I will be cruising all morning.

If it gets too late, you might want to watch for two little kids trying to push an old man around in a jogging stroller. I might wear myself out trying to see all of the cool cars and trucks

BTW It is FREE to attend. It looks like the cars will be parked North of the capitol, on the surface parking lots between MLK and 15th street.

How was it?

There were several older Chevys there and one Canary Yellow 71 Shortbed. It has some nice touches. A relocated gas tank and a filler through the wheel well in the bed.

Otherwise there were not too many cars there - maybe 100-150. They had room for twice as many. But the kids had fun, especially me, the biggest kid.

Several of the owners were letting kids climb in and out of their cars. One guy had a nice 48 that our three year old fell in love with.

Here are a couple of shots of the 71 from this past Saturday. I wish mine were 1/2 as nice. Or even 1/4th. OK, I would take 1/10th.

I walked by several times, but I never saw the owner. Don't know if the owner is a board member or not.
