when i put my hazard lights on nothing happens but when i push the brakes in, both of the light on the instrument panel light up and dont flash. any sugguestions?

I've done no research on this, but missing or faulty hazard flasher comes to mind. You could swap it with your turn signal flasher and see what happens.

I agree, sounds like a bad (over wrong) flasher to me.

are yall refering to the fuse?

Change the gizmo where it says "hazard flasher".

i put a new fuse in and it still does it

The flasher is a canister thingie, about 3/4" diameter, and about 1 1/4" long, plugged into the fues panel. Your truck will have 2 of these flashers, one for the turn signal, the other works the emergency lights. The photo above shows where the flashers go, onthe fuse panel, however, the flashers themselves are not shown in that photo.
