If it counts, I own farmland at Avoca, 30 mi east of Lincoln. That's where dad was from. Mom grew up in Burwell, northwest of GI on the edge of the sandhills. I spent a lot of time in both towns growing up.

you mean omaha got to crowded? or hebraska in general?

that may be, but being from nebraska, and then going to new york city last summer was a wake up call to what crowded is for me.

Just Omaha, not so much crowded just became something different than what it was nine years ago. There was more farms and the people seemed nicer then. With all of the new home constuction and construction in general, good for the economy but bad for those of us who like to keep it simple and uncomplicated. Just seems to me it is growing like Southern Calif. and the people are starting to get more of the East Cost manners. If you have been to NY than you know what I mean. Well anyway still nice to visit but I could not live there anymore.

Im not from Nebraska but am a die hard Black Shirts fan. My dad was born and raised there(I believe in Kearney and Alianse or however thats spelled), and my grandma, 2 aunts, and 1 uncle I know of still live there. I believe in Alianse, NE and Scottsbluff, NE. GO BIG RED, how do you feel about the Huskers football team this year. I think they may have finally found another great QB.

Quick Question: I was wondering if anyone knows of anybody or some place to get 2 FB tickets to the NU VS MU game in Columbia. I want to get my dad some tickets for a b-day gift but havn't had any luck tracking any down. If someone knows shoot me an email at michael.hamden@us.army.mil thanks. My dad has been a NU fan his whole life and has raised me to be the same, but he has never been to a game only watched on TV and listend on the radio. So I think this would be a great gift for him. Thanks in Advance.

Being in Cheyenne is like the crossroads for three Regions.

Supposed to be in the Northwest Region, but ten miles from Colorado in the Southwest Region, and less than fifty from SW Nebraska in the Midwest Region.

I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on all three.
