I'm not too far from there at all, Dexter is where I call home. Was Roswell as bad when you were here as it is now? Every week I'm reading about some shooting or other gang violence.

They lived on the highway into Dexter right before the first (ok, only) intersection. They lived across the street from the tracks. Anyways, great people I knew, they used to live in front of me in Roswell off 2nd Street, Wrangler Road, on the way to Bottomless lakes.

The name doesn't sound familiar, but I've only been here for a few months. I took a transfer down here without knowing how bad the Roswell area really was. I'll ask my neighbor if they're still in the area.

No biggie, most if not all of them are gone. Nate is in the Navy, Travis is in the Air Force and Tara is in College. Not sure if Tommy is in College or Military service, he only graduated last year or the year before.

Hey guys 1 more from NM here (northeast corner) Dont seem to be many of us here. There has to be more of us.

madman I'm sure right, there has to be more than just us in NM. When I was in Las Cruces a couple of months ago I know I saw at least a dozen in just the short time I was there.

I use to live in las cruces about a year ago and there were a lot of nice trucks there. You would figure there would be alot of people from las cruces albuquerque santa fe and farmington chiming in. Maybe they just dont read the the southwest region topics.

I'm near Santa Fe here, and there's about half a dozen nice restored trucks, maybe a tad more. I see lot's of projects and beater type trucks on the road and laying around.
I see lot's more in Albuquerque, wouldn't dare take mine down there as it would get stolen. Talked to more than a few guys that have had their 67-72 truck stolen in the Duke City. Lot's of crime there for a town it's size. I drive my truck about 2-3 times a year. If the wife let me sell it, I wouldn't own it anymore. Too many fools on the road to enjoy it.

I'm in downtown Albuquerque! I see tons of nice 67-72's all over town. I'm also surprised there isn't more of us on the board. Mine will be done soon, maybe fall. I sell parts for, install, and build air ride setups. so give a shout if you need anything!

From Gallup NM here!!, use to live in Abq for 6 years and would love to move back. I dont have a 67-72 truck yet. . . but i've got a nice 70 Chevelle, and i just bought a frame/body 70 Chevelle SS 454 that i got as my new project.

If you guys happen to come across a 70-72 Chevy truck, SWB, Fleetside for under 2000$ in decent shape. PLEASE email me with location an price. I found a 72 Chevy, SWB, fleetside, dark green w/ silver top for 2500$. Been searching the yards, ads, crusing neighborhoods . . still keeping my eyes peeled.

Hello from East Tn. Not to jack your thread, but maybe some of you could help me. I was out there in June visiting my sis in Alb and on a trip up to Taos we stopped to look at the old mission on the right just as you start into town. There is a 71 or 72 that has a dealer installed brush guard on it, it on the street on the south side of the mission maybe a block further back from the main highway. It looks like the truck has been sitting for a while and if any of you or you know of any one in the area that could check it out, I would love to have that guard if a deal could be made. Thanks, and again, I didn't mean to jack your thread.

Hi, From Bloomfield, NM. USA you know that part of the world that so many think is a foreign country. Too bad people don't know more about us that we are part of the USA and have been a long time. I have been here is NM since 1978. Land Of Enchantment. Still miss Washington State and all of the trees. Do any of you know any one that wants to buy my Chevy? It is a 1970 4x4 Short step-side Completly restored from the frame up. The 350 V-8 and the turbo 350 auto tranny have been rebuilt with aprox 5,000 miles on them No rust everything is new custom grill and Painless wiring kit,I have maybe 300-400 miles on this truck since total restoration. And I have over $12,000.00 invested in it . I will Take $9,000.00 Cash for it you can e-mail me for more info. aand photos.
