View Full Version : Good body shops in Calgary? Habscrue 05-11-2005, 06:35 PM I just started on my '71 custom 10 and the one thing i cant do is the body work...(it needs alot ;) ) Can anyone recomend anywhere in calgary and area? squirel 05-12-2005, 10:28 AM I manage a bodyshop in calgary but we do mostly insurance claims It is going to be a little hard to find a good resto shop in calgary that is not going to cost you a small fortune.I know that at this time of year though the bodyshops are a little slow so they will be getting hungary for work you could give Dion a call a Power Chief autobody 277-3838 they do some nice work and he has done a few chevy 1/2 of his own. Tell him Allan from calgary honda bodyshop give you his name. northerngmc 05-12-2005, 10:36 AM Finding a body shop can be a very difficult thing. Most do insurance work and do not want to do restorations. My truck was painted by a shop in Wetaskiwin and they are presently finishing up a 72 3/4 ton 4X4 for somebody in Calgary. The shop is Historic Auto, 780 352 0830, and I believe there shop rate is now $50/hour plus supplies. Habscrue 05-12-2005, 10:50 PM Thanks for the information. I have heard a few good things about Power Chief autobody. I might just have to get them to take a look and let me know how many millions of dollars it is going to cost me  |
