I had my doors dipped to remove paint and rust, so now, they are bare metal inside and out. How do I paint the inside so they won't rust? Can I seal all the holes with tape, put in some liquid primer, and just tilt the door back and forth till all is coated? Or, is there a better way?
I am going to be removing some sheet metal to replace it, especially along the bottom of the doors, and maybe it can be painted then?
Thanks,
John.

If it was me....I would pour some sort of rust preventitive (rustoleum, etc) into the doors and let it run into all of the seams and welds....get it nicely coated all around and let it dry......then go back and spray all of the flat area with etching primer and then paint.....then after everything is nice and dry go back and under coat for sound dampening....I did not have my doors dipped but this is what I did to them before paint....hope this helps....Paul K
I have heard of people modifying a garden sprayer to spray hard to reach places, maybe ebfabman?

If you can spare the $ get one of these (http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=10966&itemType=PRODUCT&RS=1&keyword=16003). They also sell a kit with the wand, antirust, and undercoating.
