My '69 Blazer currently sits on a 4" Rancho lift with leafs in front and blocks in the rear and 35" BFG's underneath.

I want to tame it down a little by putting on 33" tires and removing the 4" lift. I don't like body lifts (don't like the gap), but I want about a 1" lift, maybe 2" on the rear springs.

Does anyone have info or recommendations on spring makers in the Puget Sound area?
How much do you think custom leaf springs (front and back) would cost?
There is a place called Gitts Spring in Auburn that i'm about to check out, but wondered if anyone else had a referral.

Thanks

The one I deal with is in Boise (I know a bit far to go, but might be handy as a last resort), gave me really good service in all my dealings, between building replacement rear leafs for my truck, building the u-bolts for the front a-arm shafts, and a load of helpful advice....

their particulars are:
Boise Spring Works
605 N Meadowland Dr
Boise, ID 83713 - 8984
(208) 377-1157

hmm think when I get the body straight I will have em build some 1" drop coils for the front and de-arch the rear springs a couple inches or so....

Thanks. Do you remember how much they charged for building those replacement rear leafs?

Not sure of current pricing, I had the rears done 3 years ago, cost me 300 or so back then.

The front suspension u-bolts ran me $20 a pair for grade 8, which isnt too horrid, considering they custom made em

Thanks, I checked out their website. Tacoma isn't too far away at all. I'll see what they can do.

Apparently Right Way Spring and Spring-Man in oregon are under the same ownership?? or in cahoots somehow, their websites are linked together.

if you remove 2 leafs from your front pack you will end up with about 2.5" of lift and a very nice ride....ill throw in a vote for right way spring as well...

I have done some price shopping at both Gitts in Auburn and Right Way in Tacoma for a front set of 67-72 K20 springs. Gitts= $136ea, Right Way=$145ea.

These guys are great. I had a set of springs made for the 76 IH Scout I had back in HS.
