I'm soon to buy an '02 Silverado with the 5.3L Vortec. I was wanting to do a few upgrades. A chip to help power and get rid of that pesky governor, a K&N kit, and a split catback exhaust system. Shorty headers will come much later on.

My question is what is my best option for a chip or module? Should I go with a Jet chip? Stage 1 or 2? Or should I go with a programmer?
