70GMCer 06-25-2005, 06:15 AM I've never been to this show before (all GM). Is it worth going to as far as a lot of truck parts and such? I plan on going to the "Truck Nationals" there in August for the 1st time........

Sweet72 06-25-2005, 07:51 AM Truck Nat's is always a good time with plenty of parts to be had. All GM if you need only engine/drivetrain parts since this event seems to focus more on the muscle cars. I never saw so many Camaros, Chevelles and Firebird/TA's in my life and it just amazes me to see how much money and time people tie up in these cars. 15,000 is really a bargain on a well executed restoration considering the time and care that goes into making everything right. You'll see some really awesome restorations and hopped up street rods.
Joe67 06-25-2005, 08:31 AM They offer wireless internet on site? Post some info as I'll be there for the truck nats in August
Thanks!

I do believe it was me. Here is a couple old pictures of the truck. Sorry, these are the best I have now. Ol' Blue is in a million pieces right now. I'll be in my '71 Shortbed Cheyenne Super 4X4 this year. Might see you there! :truck:

I thought it was cool, I'd have done the same thing for the drive back to Michigan
I'll be with FullSizeChevy.com again with my 2000 GMC Sierra.
It was good meeting up with a few 67/72 guys last year at GMCPauls display, I hope to again this year :D

Burb84 06-28-2005, 10:05 AM I couldn't make it to All GM this year, but I'm going to All Chrysler. (My dad has a 65 Imperial, and he puts me "to work" running around the place finding what he needs). And I'm definately hitting up Track Nationals this year (need to run around and find my own parts). Maybe we can all meet someplace.....finally put some faces to the names lol
Bishops Trucks 06-28-2005, 10:40 AM Lunch at the grandstand one day. I'll be there all weekend. :gi:
deflated 07-12-2005, 09:26 AM I'll be at the all truck nat's myself. I'm hoping show up with a pocket full of cash and leave with a 67-72 c10. Not sure if im going to find one in my price range, but I can hope.
