I have had this problem on multiple machines and dont understand it.
The icons at the top of the screen will stretch.
I keep Outlook running at all times the PC is on.
Everyonce in awhile Ill check it and see the icon change.
Sometimes they stretch so much the send/receive icon is off the screen.
If I close Outlook and reopen it, everything is normal again.
Just curious, why does this happen?

EDIT:
I have noticed that they seem to stretch after closing other programs.
Photoshop was one program that made this happen almost everytime.
Probably nothing I can do about this, just find it odd and wondered if
anyone else has came across this problem.

Never seen anything like it. I believe those icons are just images...could this be related to your image viewing problems? :D ;)

I don't know if it is related or not, but I do not believe so.
I had this same problem on my older computer (NT) that didn't have
the image problem. It seems that everytime I close Adobe Photoshop,
the Outlook icons (or images) stretch as shown. I just dicovered the
link between closing Photoshop and this problem. I think it also occurs
with other programs though. I do not use Photoshop as much as I
notice this problem so something else is also contributing to this.

I was only kidding :)

There are others that have your problem, but I have yet to hear a solution. Read this...sound familiar?:

Very similar but mine has nothing to do with the minimizing and maximizing of Outlook.
Not too big of a deal, just find it odd and wondered if anyone else ever seen it.
BTW can someone with Adobe Photoshop 5.0, and Outlook Express 6 open Outlook, then
Photoshop, then close Photoshop and see if your Outlook icons stretched like mine?

are you (or have you ever been) using a skinning program of any sort?
do you have "big fonts" or other accessibility options enabled?
is it possible it could be an issue with video card drivers?
have you run a registry cleaner lately?
