i made my own battery cables today it was cheaper than to buy them already made
i use a 2.0 ga. for the ground cable -cable cost 1.75
terminal 2.25
copper eyelet 1.00


for the hot wire went with 4 ga. same cost as above
i sodler them in the shrink wrap the ends came out real nice

Sounds like a deal. How much would the premade ones have lightened your wallet?

Why did you use 4 gauge for the positive if you used 2 gauge for the ground? :confused: A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link...

he only had 4 ga left for the positive on hand plus its 4 is good enuff for the starter
