CDN_Redneck 09-13-2005, 12:18 AM Mines' a 1968 GMC 3/4 ton fleetside. 250 straight 6, pretty much bone stock. Will be doing upgrades on the motor is the spring with body work and paint done sometime next year.
I was born and raised in Vancouver and now live in Coquitlam
I just picked up a 1971 C20 that will be my daily driver/restoration project.
I'm in Vancouver too. I drive a '81 C20 2wd, its a bit rusty, but still runs pretty good.
Does anyone know of a place where you can rent a bay by the hour to do repairs? There is one on the internet in Surrey, but their phone is disconnected so I guess they are out of business. Living in an apartment means I have to do all my work on the street.

Since i am new here i should introduce my truck too. It's a 67 chevy lwb. I got a pretty good deal on it as the right door/fender had been hit. Picked it up wednesday this last week.Planning on doing a resto on the truck starting next spring, should be fun.
Anyone here have or know of someone how has good used body parts for this truck (looking for the right door, fender and a-pillar).
Thanks Jon.

robs71k5 12-30-2007, 05:58 PM I'm a new member Burnaby BC 1971 k5 4x4 Blazer nearing completion.I"m Having some difficulty with the correct seat configuration. I have seat brackets that dont match hole patterns but look close to the correct seats. I have a picture of both brackets and will try to post. Maybe someone here can remove the spell. I have two diffferent passenger seat latches wich one is for 69-72 and wich one is for 73 and up that will pretty much answer my question being. Are bucket seats changed from 72 to 73 ? Thanks Rob:metal:
Mickey_D 01-06-2008, 04:04 PM I'm originally from Vancouver, does that count?
Actually, I can't even say that. I was born in Port Coquitlam, moved to Australia, then Glasgow Scotland, then Point Roberts. But I still call Vancouver my home town. Haven't been there since just after Expo 86 when I joined the US Navy in 1988.
I still miss the place, even though a lot has changed in the 20 years since I lived there.
Just waving a hand at all the folks now inhabiting my home town. :hm:

Hi Dude I'm in Aldergrove and there are a few others in this area (Lowermainland)but I think the closest local stuff would be the Northwest guys down in Washington area but that is a good idea if someone could set something up in the Lowermainland of BC...(not me still too bussy with the race truck)
