i wish.

this is a little piece of crap that i've been working on for ten years it seems. its for a local paint store (carquest) they are giving it as a gift to a taxi company for most purchases or something. i said i would do it, must've been 6 months ago. i had to strip it to bare metal, epoxy/urethane prime. block, RM yellow bc. dupont NAson 46500 clear. airbrushed the checkers, pinstriped it with HOK green, then more clear. i made the taxi sign on the roof. when i got it the doors, trunk, and hood opened and the engine is detailed and stuff, but i'm not some hippie model builder so i just glued the biatch bach together. i have tons of left over parts, but i think i'm going to put it in a plastic case or something and pinstripe on whatever the car sits on. i'm not really proud of the lettering on the doors, the whole car didnt turn out like i wanted. just though i would post a pic since i really dont airbrush anymore this is all i have to show for the last 5 months.

i will admit that i have a new respect for the model builders that make those things look perfect. forgot to add that its diecast, thats why i had to strip it, the friggin paint on it fell off when i sprayed bc over it.
