Any of you guys ever think about getting an informal Custom/Classic Truck club going in the Spokane/CDA area ? There are a lot of nice rigs running around and most have NO club affiliations. I talked to several truck owners at the GoodGuys show and every one thought it was overdue. How 'bout all of you ? We all know guys with trucks and to me it makes absolutely no difference what brand as long as its a TRUCK. Big or small, 2x or 4x, as long as its old. I'm sick of the DUKES being on the news every time theres a show coming up. Trucks look good in parades too.
Just thinking out loud ! Mac
GenIIIShorty 09-07-2005, 06:50 PM i've been talking ith the guys on the classic gm trucks site (www.classicgmtrucks.net) most of them are on the other side of the state, but was gonna try to get a chapter of the classic gm trucks club of washington started in spokane, but i'm deployed right now......(someone at fairchild decided i hate summer in washington) so if there's an interest i'll see what i can get started when i get back in oct.

Are looking to meet at twotons place or just gather at a restaurant around lunch time???
Me personally..Hooters always sounds good.. Yes I mean the restaurant....
It doesn't matter to mebut middle of March sounds good.. Lets elect 1 person or we all could PM everyone on this thread plus on this one http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=158884
Plus add the names of folks that haven't posted but we know are here in spokane or the surrounding area's..
bskylerj 02-21-2006, 12:38 AM We can also start a new thread saying SPOKANE GET TOGETHER and the date then pm everyone the link. If we do at twotons people can put there vehicle on the dyno if they want. We can also start at HOOTERS and then head to twotons as it is not far from there.
409biscayne 02-21-2006, 01:49 AM Hooters and the dyno ! Doesn't get much better than that

drink2mny 05-29-2006, 11:36 AM Its at the old Itron/telect place, just off the highway... Starts around 9:00am.Its usually good size..
I'll probably drive the '64 442 over there with the kids. Walk around then come back to spokane and hit the Land of Ozz/dragins race team little swapmeet and show.Nothing fancy, but sometimes has decent stuff.
If you see this in the parking lot.. I'm there..
GenIIIShorty 05-29-2006, 01:52 PM Do you drive that a lot? I've never seen it only the Chev.
drink2mny 05-29-2006, 04:32 PM She's my little known secret.. Had her now for about 11 years.

It was cool to meet ya..
bskylerj 06-04-2006, 02:12 AM Sorry guys, I missed all of you. I saw the Olds if that helps. I spent a while talking to Rick, he owned this truck. He has never been on the board so I gave him the address. Did anyone from the board have there truck there?
bskylerj 06-04-2006, 02:36 AM Itook some pics today and posted them in the event coverage.
drink2mny 06-04-2006, 11:37 AM Sweet.. Ya I talked with him for a little bit about the Bag suspension he has..
Pretty sweet truck..
GenIIIShorty 06-04-2006, 01:25 PM Yeah I talked to him a little about his interior.....unfortunately he couldn't remember what the seats were out of. There were some nice cars there, and more than a few shoeboxes!
bskylerj 06-05-2006, 12:52 AM Are you guys heading to the CDA show in 2 weeks? I am hoping to have mine all done and ready for that one.
GenIIIShorty 06-05-2006, 11:06 PM Oh, is that the "Car'dalene" show? It was a good show when I went a few years ago.

Don't forget Fairchilds car show is next weekend
bskylerj 06-06-2006, 12:32 PM What day and time is the Fairchild show? Is it on the base? What do we have to do to get into that one if it is on the base? I would like to come out and look.
drink2mny 06-06-2006, 03:42 PM Well, I just talked to the gentlman that founded it 2 years ago.. He has been told by the services squadron that they can't support it this year..
I swear they they just want to take some morale away from us...
bskylerj 06-07-2006, 02:35 AM Does that mean there is no show?
drink2mny 06-07-2006, 11:32 AM Yup.. No Fairchild car show.. Pretty nice of them to take something away from us..
Now I did hear medical lake is having something this weekend. I am going to try and get a flyer at one of the conoco's. Plus if that doesn't pan out. There is the 2nd harvest show at tidymans on sprague.. Not sure what day.. I believe that was on the 3rd also..
drink2mny 06-08-2006, 11:10 AM I quit listening to people........
They thought the founders day was this coming weekend in Medical lake..That comes in July...
bskylerj 06-08-2006, 11:42 AM It does not look like many shows this weekend
drink2mny 06-08-2006, 12:02 PM plus the rain.. My olds does not like rain.. because it likes to leak into the trunk.. I can't wait to find a good/decent body shop in my price range and not in the boyd coddington price range..
Locked 06-10-2006, 06:33 PM We must have drivin right past the Liberty Lake gathering but didn't stop because we thought it was a farmer's market sale. Look forward to the next gathering in the Spokane area. Too bad they CANXed the FAFB show. It was great last year.
