Where was everyone at :crazy:

So much food, beer, and soda.....it's hard to eat all that food all by yourself!

I met Matt, his wife, father-in-law, Mark (friend of Matt), and the two dogs... all great people and animals (even the dog who thought I was food :lol: )

We bs'd and looked at my truck's rust until about 8PM or so and I even got two hubcaps and a choke cable.

We have to organize one sometime for many people to come out....there's a nice place for everyone to pose the trucks together for a picture.

COME ONE COME ALL NEXT TIME TO THE TRUCK BOARD MEET AT MATT"S PLACE!!!

yeah i wish i wouldnt of been able to make it.

but got the velle fixed, didn tblow the motor after all. hadda watch my sisters for a little, and pick them up from the movies, and had some other **** to do. before i knew it, it was 11:00.

next time i will be their, and i will have my truck on the road by then.

Yeah, we had plenty of food and beer to go around. Everyone had a good time and I really got to look over Mike's 68 haywagon, even though my truck was not there. :( The missus and I are going to go up to Wilkes to join Mike for the cruise nights when the motor is done. Aaron, I'm glad you got the velle going again, sorry you got stuck working for 13 1/2 hours, Tom. Your boss truly is an A$$.
Mike got 2 hubcaps and a choke cable for free, just for coming out. Who knows what other parts I may have given out if people had come :lol:

Hey! well the classes i would start in at Lehigh Valley dont start until October but because of some "family issues" I wont be going until in the spring. My parents are getting a divorce and i dont want to leave my mom alone, shes having a pretty rough time with it all. So another winter in lovely Edinboro PA!!

I just found out Monday my dad may have lung cancer. He's only 46 but smoked like crazy. They found a tumor in his lung that has a 40% chance of being cancerous :rolleyes: .

Sorry to hear about your dad, Mike. My dad smoked like crazy until he had a heart attack. He's been smoke free for 6 years now and I hope he makes it through life without any long term effects.
I got the truck back yesterday, it runs awesome. It felt really great to drive it. Here's a pic of the motor, it looks even better in person. :metal:

well i have bad luck as well.

this damn new 350 has been nothing but trouble. i wont be driving it for a while. looks like i will be pulling the heads off, and putting screw in studs in. i think my press in's are pulling out. its making noise again. and i might put a roller cam in it now. one thing after another. also my dad is talking about me getting new heads. but i gotta buy bare ones, because i spent to much money on valves and springs for these ****ty stock heads so i gotta reuse em.

So wheres the next one?? Where ever it is im coming with my truck!! SHES DONE!!!! Im so freggin excited! I finsihed everything myself so i have the little sense of accomplishment! I have to go get inspected tomarrow after work. Its been a long time!! 4 months and 13 days to be exact. No more 1992 buick lesabre!! I'll definately be posting some pics really soon. I have to get my sisters digital camera (and learn how the heck to use it) but it'll probably be with in a couple weeks. Anyways....back to the original point here...let me know if you all wanna have another get together before winter and i'll be there!!
Im gonna shut up now i have a truck to go play with ;)

It's cool to hear from you, Joy. How are you holding up? I'm glad to hear your truck is fixed, it's cool that you did all the work yourself. In my case I lacked the knowledge to do the total engine rebuild, so I left it in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing.
as for the get together, I'd love to do one if people would actually come, Mike was the only one who showed up. Any takers?

I'd like to have one again, but I'm not sure if I would make it. Depends on how stuff goes here :( .

I definately didnt rebuild the engine. I just hooked it up and all that fun sh!t after dropping on the new cab and bed. I did become a pro at putting on starters though...i ended up changing my starter 3 freggin times in the past 2 days...I found out last night that it had absolutly nothing to do with my starter...I didnt have my engine grounded...oops, nobody told me i had to, i had no idea. Anyways I called the guy where im getting it inspected and he cant get me in until friday :( thats a bummer but I'll still drive it at night lol... If i do get pulled over i'll just drop to my knees....works everytime. just kidding im not like that...i'd much rather take him out and show him the real reason why trucks come equiped with a bed ;) ;)
Anyways if you all do want to get together even if its like next spring or whatever let me know and I'll be there.

most likely i wont be bringin the velle. and if it is after xmas, i will be driving my truck.

the last week has been pretty hard for us. we got rid of Cuda the puppy on labor day (we didnt have time for a puppy, because of school, work, and sisters play sports). and thursday Trixter the old dog, passed away. so its been kind of hard. but he got real sick, and we had to put him down.

but anyways, im all good. and have moved on.

Really sorry to hear about your dogs Aaron. I know what you're going through, it is definately hard. our animals are like family. I have to get rid of my other 2 horses and its going to kill me, but i cant have them when i move down there and i could really use the money. I'll miss them but I'll make sure that they go to a good home.

I almost forgot to update everyone about the farm and my d!ck head boss. He called me last saturday morning and my boyfriend answered the phone. They got into it pretty good so i took the phone and talked to dan. Anyways...to make a long story short Im back at the barn Dan kisses me arse and i got a $2.50 pay raise. I try not to hold grudges. Im not going to stay there very long though just until i find something different that pays well.
Anyways...im really good at getting off track in my little posts here and i end up writing a short story of my life everytime. So, how bout that get together? ;)

heya everybody...just wanted to let ya all know that i will not be on here for some time....not sure how long but i moved out of the house and im living on my own. things are a little bit tight but i got two more jobs. im milking, bar tending and waitressing...woohoo..doesnt leave a whole lot of time for me but do what ya gotta do i guess. anyways it might even be a couple months im not sure.
