im gonna be running a AUTOMETER fuel guage in my 71 and need to know how i would hook it up.
i know one wire runs to the fuse panel but what other wire would i need ??? (colors) i have the schematics but they confuse me more than they help me. :hm:

The power wire should be a pink wire that powers all the guages unless you have the printed circuit instrument panel and then the plug in should automatically power it.

BUT
im not using the stock guages. i have autometers in place of them now. i will be using a autometer fuel guage before long. not sure how they are hooked up but if the brown wire goes to the fuse panel (which mine does) what other wire do i use to connect to the guage ??
