Any one have an update of theirs?

Welcome to the board from NJ! On a panel truck the outer rockers are the same as a pickup. The floorbraces should be the same as are the front door pillars. From the rocker back you will have to piece together. If your wheel arch is chewed up, you will need the following pieces...

Either a used SHORTBED bedside. Longbeds have a different wheel arch. They are rounded on the leading edge whereas burbs, panels, blazers & shortbeds all have a squared off leading edge to the wheel arch. Also, the bead on the wheel arch is more defined than on the longbed.

You can also use the upper wheel arch panel, the lower front BLAZER patch panel and the suburban rear patch panel. For the area between the wheel arch & the rocker, you will need to fabricate a piece of sheetmetal to fill this area.

Somewhere on the board I had made a sketch showing what patch panels were available and where they went...

Good luck & get some pics up... :)

im hoping to have my 69 panel on the road by the end of july, but its going to be close. 68 front clip is all painted, doors and barns are at the bodyshop now being repaired and painted. wheel wells, core support, and misc items are all powder coated. body is coming off of frame this week so i can detail and lower suspension and install new motor, tranny and exhaust....keeping fingers crossed.
