The paint on my 89 Is ok but it has some small chips and very small rust spots, all less then the size of a dime. And some dents on the pass. side as well. My question is can a body shop touch these up and make them look right and fix the dents and not be able to tell it has been repainted in those three places? Also is there some way to make the paint look almost new again, the paint is really good execpt for the chips. Its not really faded to bad but you can tell it looks like a 16 year well taken care of paint job. Here are some pics.

That crease in the passenger door is the killer here. It goes through the cab corner and into the bed. It is hard to see in the photo, but it looks like it may continue clear back to the taillight. That is gonna take more work than just chip touch-up. Since you have that to deal with, you are probably best to shoot the side, making the chips a no-brainer to fix at the same time.

So, yes it can be repaired, but it is not a touch-up. A competent bodyshop should be able to make it look like nothing ever happened. Since you are going that far, I would re-shoot the whole truck. That will fix your minor oxidation problem before it gets away from you.
