I'm not exactly in Indy anymore, but not too far, and my buddies are still in Indy, so I end up down there often... Congrats on the purchase!

I'm in Indy for school, as are a bunch of the guys on www.realoldspower.com. We usually get together once or twice in the "off season" to get to hooters, check out the boobs and bench race.

Hello to all Indy area folks. The Church I attend will be having their 3rd annual fall festival and cruize in in Sept. I would be great if you could bring those trucks out and line them up. Its not a real serious show, for most anyway, short day. Registration starts at 8:30 to 11am. Show ends at 2pm. Everything is free including lunch, Chicken and 2 or 3 tables of other stuff. There is stuff for kids to do also. Last year we had about 50 vehicles, 1 tractor and a few motorcycles. The registration form is to large to attach here so email me "snohog@indy.rr.com" if you would like to come. It is a Sunday, come early so you dont have to miss Church.

Bout an hour west of Indy here right off I-70's Brazil/Linton exit. Got a 63 GMC lwb fleet and a 65 C-10 swb step. GMCPaul I never would have guessed you were so close to home. Too bad Uncle Sam, in his infinite wisdom, moved me to blazing hot New Mexico. I miss trees and fishing so bad. Might have to look some of you guys up when I come home on leave.

:tj: Sorry for the jack but we spent the night in Fort Wayne when we where heading for the meet. Seemed like a nice town. Stayed just off of the interstate in a nice hotel surrounded by alot of hotels.

Did anyone ever get together? Anything planned in 2008? We have had more than a few Chevy's 78 2wd 1/2ton, currently a 78 3/4 4wd- possibly for sale, and this year in August I happened to see a 70 K5 4wd down in Greenwood at Ray Skillman for sale. I grabbed it and have been enjoying since. Would be up for a meet around Indy. With the 33's a 15 month old, another on the way in March and the truck getting about 9.5 miles to the gallon, I won't be going far.

Hello,

Is anyone going to the swap meet on Jan 5th at the Indianapolis Fairgrounds? I went last year and it had a ton of stuff.

http://www.midamericapromotions.com/

Also, does anyone in the area know of a straight shortbed that is currently for sale. If anyone does, please let me know.

Thanks,

Adam

I might be attending, but I'm not for sure.I need to go,I've got several trucks I need to get parts for.As for shortbeds, mine are the only ones I know about in the area,I don't see any around here for sale, let alone not for sale. There is a '67 short fleet small window but I'm not giving out it's location ;)

I'm originally from Gas City but got tired of crap money, so now I live in wingate about 25 miles south of lafayette, IN
I've owned numerous 67-72's including a body dropped chopped top blazer and am currently building a 4X4 suburban 4 inch lift 33's and starting rust repair. The pic of blazer is down at showfest in Mississippi with a buddy from kokomo
