i got a 2-4 drop on my truck and need some shocks. Have any of you used the ece shock kit with all 4 shocks and the relocator kit. I was just wondering if KYB makes a quality shock??

I did the shocks, kit 2x4 drop, and the panhard kit on my 67. It works great! I also added the front sway bar, (it was the easiest item of all to install) and am VERY pleased with the results.

So you already have a 2/4 drop on your truck and are looking to replace the shocks?

The rear relocator brackets are required, unless you have them already.

I have used KYB's in the past and really liked them. The Gas-A-Just ones provide a firmer ride while the Gr-2's are softer.

They are the same if you can find a 1 1/4" factory sway bar. Look for one on a 3/4 ton. Same as ECE, BUT....BUT, ECE sells drop mounts for the sway bar that you need for a dropped truck.

You can also check out CPP, that's where I got my shocks and relocators. They have Doetsch Tech shocks. I'm happy with mine.

My truck is a 3/4 ton and is only lowered 2 in the front so would u still recomend getting the lowered brackets for the sway bar..Also what about the adjustable panhard bar.. Is that somethin u'd recomend for a 4 inch drop in the rear???

With a 2" front drop you probably don't need the lower front sway bar brackets.

With a 4" rear drop, ECE strongly recommends the adjustable track/panhard bar :D

I've used the ECE shocks bunches of times. KYB is top notch brand.

Please call ECE tech line and ask the guys your questions. I promise you, they will part any clouds in your mind. There's a reason they have a zillion loyal customers on here.

Tell them the fireman sent you, they'll know who you're talking about.
